Captain "Light Foot"
Michael Martin
Salem's "wild Irish Rogue"
Michael John Martin arrived at Derby Wharf in a row boat on a cold New England Morn in 1819. Michael was a large man described as muscle built by a higher power, long blond hair and blue eyes.He arrived in Salem leaving behind a legendary career as Europe's most wanted highwayman.
Often known as the gentlemen thief, of Ireland's "Robbin Hood". He worked an honest life in Salem until the highway came a calling again.Dressed as a Puritan Clergy Man, or as a woman Captain Light foot was now a fearsome character on New England back roads.
Michael Martin was finally nabbed after robbing a General from Boston and put in the old Boston jail. While jailed Martin some how cut off his shackles knocked out a guard ran into a massive oak wall and crashed it to the ground.after a 200 yard chase left 2 more guards knocked out he was again jailed. Martin was hanged in Boston in front of a large crowd, a crowd that he joked with even while standing at the hanging platform. After he noticed 2 black horses and his hearse behind he laughed out loud "I have a private carriage to the after life"then the platform gave way and they say he swayed back and forth with a devilish grin.
Michael has returned to show you the darker side of the Salem night, with of course a devilish grin.
Dorcas Goode

Dorcas Good was born on November 13th 1688. She was born to the cruel William Good and sweet Mother Sarah Good. William my father was at the least abusive, and an alcoholic who forced myself and mother into street peddling, when word spread in 1692 that my dear mother was a witch, father testified against her.Mother spent months in the old Witch Dungeon a wretched place.I myself was accused for the craft, I was only 4 years of age!.My mother was hanged in 1692 5 months passed before I was released to my father. After my mothers hanging however I fell into a strange state of hearing voices, and meeting with the devil in my dreams. At 16 years old I escaped my father but never the haunting voices at 26 I found no choice but to take my own life. I have however found myself back home again walking our streets at night to make sure the spirits of 1692 shall never ,never be forgot!

ANNIE BLACKWATER
Annie Blackwater was born in 1725 in the shanty town of Marblehead, MA. Her mother was Irish and her father Algonquin, hence the red hair and great cheekbones. When her parents died, she, at the tender age of seven, was sent to work at the publick house of Salem with her older brother, Nat. There, she would be regaled with stories of storms, scandal, and success on the high seas. When she was fifteen, her brother was offered a post on a ship run by men who had once been commanded by Captain Low, a notorious pirate. He refused to leave without his sister. Though the men felt it bad luck to have a woman on board, Annie was known to start fights and hold her own in any situation. Plus, she was smart for her age and could tie knots faster than any man. Fortunately for her, Annie was taken on, the pirates had great success, and she learned more and more about the scandals that took place in their home port of Salem.
